Starting today, EACE will launch a new social media campaign with the goal of increasing member engagement through some of our social media networks, mainly Facebook, Twitter (@EACEPR, #EACE), and LinkedIn (EACE group). Here is a sample calendar of what you can expect from us.
Monday: Upcoming EACE Programs, Events, and Announcements.
Every week, we will be highlighting some of our upcoming EACE programs and events to help you plan ahead and take action!
Tuesday: Resources related to Career Services and Recruiting.
On Tuesday, we will share interesting articles, tutorials, guides related to recruiting trends, best practices, career services and EACE resources.
Wednesday: Photo Wednesday
Watch out! You can be famous. Each week, we will post a picture or video featuring a EACE member.
Thursday: Throwback Thursday
Back in the day… Who doesn’t want to go back down memory lane? We will post information regarding the History of EACE, including past event pictures or videos.
Friday: Fun Facts Friday
Did you know that EACE was originated from a professional group called Eastern College Personnel Officers (ECPO) dated back in 1926? Every Friday, we will share with you interesting artifacts.

Gerald Tang is the Associate Director of Undergraduate Career Development at Columbia University. Gerald is a passionate career counselor with a strong interest in working with students to develop strategic career plans. His goal is to help students to identify their interests and values and gain essential skills in managing their careers throughout their lifetimes. Prior to joining CCE, Gerald worked with undergraduate engineering and design students at Wentworth Institute of Technology as a cooperative education advisor and with graduate students at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College School of Public Policy and Management as a career counselor. Gerald received his master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Human Development at SUNY Binghamton. He is an active member of the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE). He is also certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator assessment tool.
Gerald is a Hong Kong native and worked at a government agency before transitioning to the US. He speaks fluent Cantonese and can write Chinese. He also grew up in a restaurant environment where he developed his passion for food and cooking.
