Professional Connections Dinner Discussions at the 2014 EACE Conference

EACE Blog contribution by Lisa Sydney, Assistant Director, Career & Employment Services at LaSalle University and EACE Mentoring Committee

The Mentoring Committee has been working this past year to provide revamped programming and services aimed at supporting individuals’ needs in relation to their professional lifecycles through various learning and relationship building opportunities. One of the first of these programs will occur at the conference in Annapolis.

Two Professional Connections Dinner Discussions will be held during the EACE conference this year at Fado restaurant. We invite both newer and more seasoned professionals to join these dinner discussions that promote sharing and the exchange of experiences, ideas, expertise, and feedback.

The two topics of discussion at the Professional Connections Dinner will be:

    • Transitioning from Industry to Career Services
    • Applying Your Non-Higher Education Masters Degree to Your Work in Career Services.

Each discussion dinner group is limited to 10 people. To reserve your spot, email Lisa Sydney at prior to the conference or sign-up at the conference in the hospitality suite.  The event is a “dinner on your own” option.
